[Jari-Matti Latvala] est le plus jeune vainqueur de l’histoire d’un rallye en WRC. Le Français Sébastien Loeb s'est retiré du rallye suite à un tonneau avec sa Citroën C4 lors de la troisième spéciale le 9 février, les ingénieurs de Citroën ayant en effet estimé que le moteur ne tiendrait pas le coup suite à l'accident de la veille.
